Este tem sido um ano d a q u e l e s, right? Aliás, nem sei bem que tipo de ano porque ninguém tinha passado por isto antes, mas adiante.
Covid, vida parada, Amélia na primeira classe, poucos sítios onde ir. Jantares cancelados, viagens canceladas, casamentos adiados e até o Verão soube a pouco.
Durante a quarentena estive cinquenta dias em casa e posso-vos dizer que passaram rápido, tive sempre coisas para fazer, não andei aborrecida, mas senti sempre que quando o Verão chegasse tudo ia ser melhor. Entretanto o Verão chegou, passou, já foi e diz que só volta para o ano e eu mal o senti. Fui à praia meia-dúzia de vezes, andei de molho uns dias na piscina and that's it. Portanto, Outono aqui estamos nós!
Este fim-de-semana davam previsão de chuva, entretanto já dava previsão de sol e depois era o meio termo. Sem nada planeado, decidi, no sábado ao final do dia, que íamos passar o domingo todo fora de casa, para aproveitar. Sou daquelas pessoas que quando vem a chuva e o frio quer é estar em casa e sair o mínimo possível. O serão de sábado foi muito tranquilo: homemade pizza e Harry Potter. A Amélia já adora o Harry Potter!! She's 6, btw.
No Domingo fomos até Gaia e almoçamos no 7groaster. Adoro um bom brunch e já queria experimentar este há algum tempo: classic burger, falafel salad e 7g bennedict foram os pedidos. Gostamos mesmo muito! Toda a comida era deliciosa, o latte de amêndoa acalmou-me as saudades de Londres e a limonada de café que o Tó pediu era divinal.
O staff super simpático e o espaço é muito agradável, tem vários tipos de café que podemos comprar para moer em casa e moinhos também, muito rústico.

This has been one of those years, am I right? I'm not even sure what kind of year, really, because none of us has been throught this before.
Covid, life on pause, Amélia starting first grade, few places to go. Called off dinners, canceled trips, posponed weddings and even Summer was gone in a blink.
Covid, life on pause, Amélia starting first grade, few places to go. Called off dinners, canceled trips, posponed weddings and even Summer was gone in a blink.
During lockdown I've been at home for fifty days and I can tell you it went by really fast, I had loads to do, I didn't even got the time to get bore, but always felt that once Summer was here everything would be better. Eventually Summer arrived, went by, and is only expected next year. I managed to go to beach a few times, soaked in the pool on the weekends and that was it. So Autumn, here we are!
This weekend they predicted rai, then sun, and a few days later, rain again. With no plans at all, we decided to spend our Sunday out, so we could enjoy some fresh air outside the house. I'm the kind of person who doesn't want to leave has soon as rain and cold arrive.
We drove to Gaia and had brunch at 7groaster. I do love a good brunch and been wanting to try this one for a while: classic burger, falafel salad and 7g bennedict were the orders. It was all delish! All the food was amazing, the almond latte flew me back to London town and Tó's coffee lemonade was incredible.
All the staff was really nice and the space is super cute. They have all different kinds of coffee that you can buy and make it at home.
Aproveitamos o bom tempo, pegamos na bicicleta e no skate e andamos no passadiço. Ainda dei um saltinho até à Natura e trouxe esta vela perfumada para a sala, deliciosa mesmo.
Voltamos a casa a tempo de jantar cedo e relaxar antes de começar a confusão da semana.
Afterwards we enjoyed the good weather and strolled around in our bike and skate. I had a few minutes to pop in Natura shop and bought a scented candle. I'ts divine, btw.
We came home just in time for an early dinner and a relaxed evening before the crazy rush of the week.
